The constitution and (law & by laws) are a general version drawn up from Federation of Institute of Food Science and Technology Association (FIFSTA) and International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST).


  • To organize undergraduate degree program on Food Science & Technology in Myanmar
  • Promote knowledge development, communication exchanges and the application of science and technology to any aspect of food science and technology
  • Advance the interests of the food profession and to promote high ethical standards within the profession
  • Develop collaboration with other national and international bodies concerned with food science and technology
  • Promote the education and training of food scientist and technologists
  • Participate as full member of The Federation of Institutes of Food Science and Technology in ASEAN (FIFSTA) and organize Conferences and Exhibitions as a Professional Association of Food Science and Technology
  • In collaboration with FIFSTA, enroll as a member (Adhering Body) of IUFoST in due course and participate in the biennial Asian Food Conference and World Food Congress

After 5th Anniversary of FoSTA Myanmar Meeting was held on 14.09.2019, new president and vice president were elected with voting and reforming the CEC members and EC members.
